Red Bluff Campground

Our pavilion did not have any signage indicating it was reserved. While this fortunately did not lead to any conflicts with other visitors, it could have potentially caused confusion. Additionally, no trash cans were provided at the site, and we were not informed in advance that we would need to bring our own trash bags. As a result, we made several trips to the dumpster—thankfully, it was located nearby.

During our stay, individuals who appeared to be park rangers asked us to produce a parking permit or ticket that we were unaware we needed. The camp hosts, whose quarters were located adjacent to our pavilion, never provided us with any such permit or information. Despite passing by multiple times in their utility vehicle, the camp hosts never stopped to greet us, offer assistance, or communicate any expectations regarding parking documentation.

Furthermore, the outhouse next to our pavilion was initially unsanitary, with feces on the seat. Given that we had toddlers with us, I approached one of the park rangers to report the issue. They spoke with the camp hosts, and the facility was eventually cleaned enough to be usable.

Although I did not have any direct interaction with the camp hosts, the park rangers were courteous and helpful throughout our visit.

Red Bluff is a beautiful campground and the campground hosts Lisa and Josh are remarkable.
They helped my sister who was on crutches get to the creek and they carried stuff for us. The bathrooms were kept very clean and they just are super friendly.

Park was peaceful and beautiful. Would have been 5 stars except for two things. We went to use the showerhouse and restrooms at about 645 am and they were locked! Why? Then, the dump station. The black tank waterline did not have threads on the end of it. It was way too short and without threads we couldn't hook our black tank hose to it to flush our tank. Big inconvenience. Both things can be easily remedied. We will probably come back, we have family that lives in that area, but please fix that hose!

was an awesome place. amazing restrooms. loved the woods and the quite location. will add this to next years travels.

Nice campground. Just wished they had left some shade trees, because all sites were in direct sun with some morning or evening shade. Be sure to fill up water at the potable water station adjacent to the dump station. The faucets throughout the campgrounds do not have garden hose connections, just a spout. Good access to the Huzzah River and gravel bar from the day use area. We will camp here again.

The dump station is closed and I was not notified of this prior to arrival.

I've camped here for many years and its so beautiful. But this year the dump station is out of commission. Which costs us an extra $10 to take it to another station to dump.

New shower room. Very clean sites. Well wooded for shade. Clean campground. Very quiet!!

Very quiet and peaceful location

Wonderful place to visit, Spectacular views throughout the park. Newly built campsites and bathrooms. Great stream to cool off in. Definitely will be returning.
