We were very pleased with our preseason camping experience. The lake had one campground open and we were delighted with the whole experience. The lake is pretty and although it rained some of the time we were there we were able to get out and go for some walks. Showers were clean and water was hot. I especially liked the hand sprayer that was there in addition to the main shower nozzle. A bargain at our senior discount card of $12.00 for full hookup, including sewer.

We like the full hook ups and places to walk/ride your bike. It's quiet, but not too far from Poplar Bluff.

Site 57 is level, wide and the awning side faces trees. But Hwy D is just 100” behind the back of the camper and its very open. Felt very exposed to heavy road traffic. Plant a few trees!!

Campsite is clean, water/electric at every site I could see for RV/travel trailer. Dump station for gray & black tanks easy to access. Lower site we stayed at was easy to back into with our pull behind. Attendant was friendly & cheerful. Swimming area was clean and busy with people. Fishing was good. We will return in a few weeks.
