Very peaceful and scenic views of the lake. It has a beach and boat launch.

This place is always nice, clean, quiet and peaceful. I needed a weekend away and this was perfect. Far enough from a lot of business but close enough to a grocery store, dollar general and a restaurant if you need something last minute or just don’t feel like cooking. All the visitors are nice, we have never had a problem with anything.

Reasonable price, clean and scenic. I don't think you can go wrong staying at People's Creek.

Quick stay, but really wonderful. Very thankful for the attentiveness of the camp ground staff to address a recent rain event and it's impact on my reservation. Will visit again!

We enjoyed a three-night stay. Quiet during the weekdays and busy on the weekends. It was early in the season so there were fallen leaves collected around the sites and tall weeds but the site we had was level. The camp hosts were present and welcoming. No firewood at the campground but a gas station near town sold it for $3/bundle. We found a number of trails in the area.

This was not what we expected. The "campground" is a parking lot between a busy street and a steep slope to a marina. Maybe if you are planning a long day on a boat, this would work for trailer/RV camping, but I would not have felt safe (let alone happy) tent camping with my wife and young kids here. We parked in our parking/camping spot only long enough to locate Ridge Campground across the lake. It was wooded, private, with lake views--just what we wanted.

Have stayed here twice now. Great campground. Stayed in a 33’ motorhome with toad and had plenty of space.
