Redman Creek Recreation Area is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained campground with clean facilities, friendly hosts, and spacious, level campsites. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, accessible amenities, and proximity to local attractions like restaurants and shopping. While some noted minor issues, such as a full fire pit and occasional noise from nearby traffic, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a favored destination for camping.

Redman Creek is an amazing place to stay and the host Don and April Cecil are the best. We love Lake Wappapello. My only complaint is the website is the worst and not user friendly. I have camped and made reservations to stay at Redman for 17 years and have never missed a holiday weekend until this new website came into place. Very aggravating when your almost complete making your reservations and then you get booted off the page. This happens time and time again. I also would like to see the campground host be able to have the ability again to make reservations, especially if you want to stay a couple extra days. Not everyone has cell service and or WiFi to get online or call to make reservations when your camping in a remote place. Bathroom could also use a good cleaning or makeover.
