GeneralATTENTION TRUMAN LAKE CAMPERS: Beginning on March 1, 2026, spring (March 1-April 14) and fall (October 1-November 30) shoulder camping seasons will be by reservation only. Cash and checks will not be accepted. As with past shoulder seasons, reduced camping rates are in effect due to reduced amenities (waterborne facilities are closed, no park attendants on duty). Reservations may be made in advance or on the day of arrival through www.recreation.gov. Please do not set up on a campsite without first reserving that site.

GeneralCampers, after 14 days camping on one campsite, must vacate the campground for a minimum of 24 hours. This includes all belongings.
Campers must have a working mode of transportation available.

Our site and our friends site seems to have a fair amount of trash lying around the ground (bottle caps, plastic silverware, comb, plastic and metal odds and ends). We did not realized the campground was recently flooded. We were bummed to see the state of the beach (closed off). It was a very quiet weekend with not many campers utilizing the campground. Bathrooms and showers house were ok.

B loop was very quiet and sites are large. Road leading to campground was very rough. It pays to drive slow. Don’t plan on cell service with Verizon.

We had interactions with a couple of the camp hosts. Each time they were friendly and helpful. When we arrived the campsite was in great clean condition.
