We were setup in site B008. Sites are spacious and level. Only complaints would be that the sites are gravel and can be soft and kind of soupy after a good rain. There were several large standing dead trees that need to be taken down before the fall.

Still having trouble with internet connection. I couldn't stay connected to the park's wifi from my campsite. Otherwise, the park looks beautiful. I really appreciate their keeping up with the mowing and fixing some drainage problems. They cleared fallen trees quickly. The staff is friendly. Other campers are respectful. The views are wonderful!

The road Berry Bend Avenue is TERRIBLE until you get to the actual park entrance. Giant potholes and rough ride. There is no beach to swim at. The sight in loop C that have had water added to them are awesome and larger than before. The grass was well cut and the shower house and bathroom were clean.

Really need to consider reopening the swim beach. Already closed the A loop, swim beach, sad to say it’s not heading in the right direction.

The campgrounds were VERY nice and our campsite was excellent. We did have some rain and one of our levelers sank slightly even with a base beneath it. It was peaceful and roomy. The biggest drawback was not something the Corps could be held responsible for. Ecoli levels were high so a few beaches were closed.

I stayed in B Loop and loved my site. It is peaceful and clean in this area. James and Betty are the best. I was there before the 4th of July and they were making up goodies bags for the kids that would be staying there that holiday weekend. They were decorating and making it very festive. They are the nicest camp hosts I have ever encountered.

Lots of people ignoring rules, shooting guns and fireworks. Dogs not on leashes, people blasting music. I won't return

Very well maintained park, clean bathrooms. Even though they don’t maintain the beach, we still had a good time swimming.
