Our visit to Longshoal was amazing! We definitely want to go back. It is a quiet campground with a nearby marina you just have to go visit! The Lake is down at the moment and the bank fishing sparse, but there was no highway noise, and we saw gulls, heron, and even eagles! A couple of notes: we had a hard time finding a map of the grounds but there was one posted on the outside of the shower house; we could never find firewood for sale, even when we drove to Warsaw; the ground can be quite rocky in places, so bring something comfortable to lay under your sleeping bags; and the vault toilets were inaccessible. The people running the camp were super sweet and patrolled semi-frequently along with the park rangers, and kids can feed carp outside the marina for just 50 cents (There's also a restaurant at the marina with great deals on takeout!). We had a great time!

Very nice campground, sites not spaced close together. Shower house and restrooms clean. Close to waterfront for fishing. Nice swimming beach across the road. Water not in each site, but hydrants located around the campground. We enjoyed our stay, and will return again.
