Had a little trouble getting checked in. Had to make two trips back to the booth before someone showed up.
Park is clean and quiet. It is our pick of places to go, relax and watch the lake.

We always enjoy camping at Longshoal, it’s been our go to campground for over 40 years.

The water for RV is at the entrance. We hunted for a while, through the campground, and finally someone told us it was beside the entrance hut. (Which was unmanned nearly every time we drove by.)

We just bought our camper. This was a great first trip for us. Campground was clean and well kept. It was quiet and felt like we had our privacy. The only cons with our specific spot was that we were right next to the highway. Lot of traffic noise. Will probably pick a farther lot next time. Also, service for AT&T wasn’t the best. At our lot, it was very spotty or nonexistent. Has a playground for the kiddos to play. Shower houses were decent.

Would have been nice if grass was cut all the way down to the water. It was hard to take little kids fishing down at shore line with grass as tall as the kids.
