Need better cell phone service. There was thunderstorm warnings and nobody could get advanced notifications from our phones because of the POOR cell phone signal. The carrier is AT&T. We camp on top of the hill, so it should not be an issue.

this place was a hidden treasure. this was our first time here but surely won't be the last. Quiet spacious sights. nice beach area for the grandkids, very well maintained, camp host was super nice. The Maintenace workers were on top of it.

This is our go-to spot for camping!. We always have a great time, it's not to far from our home and my hubby loves that he doesn't have to pull the trailer for very long!. The water is just a few steps away from the camp site, very shady, clean and after 10 pm it's very quite!.. The marina up the road is great if we want to rent a pontoon or anything like that, very convenient. It's just an all around great place to camp. Only drawback is the check-in time, which is 6pm. It would be great if it were 12 noon instead.

Nice park. Clean restrooms and showers. Pretty lake. Nice sites - uncrowded. We would come back.

Thibaut Point is a wonderful campground, except that the sites are higher than the surrounding area. We typically put a pet fence up from our RV door for our dogs, but we had to move it out because there was a dropoff from the gravel pad to the surrounding grass. This was merely a minor inconvenience though. The beach is one of the best we've seen at a lake. There are two small pavilions and a sidewalk leading all the way to the lake. The beach itself is quite large as is the swimming area in the lake. We were completely undisturbed by any boats since they are not allowed near the swimming area barrier.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 14 day stay. The campground was well designed, constructed, and maintained. The staff was excellent. I am a retired District Forest Ranger with 34 years working for the USDA Forest Service. One thing I liked was it was a modern campground but still felt like a forest setting. My wife would have liked more flush toilets but that didn't bother me.

Pros: The campsite B-06 was nice, quiet and level for our 30 ft camper trailer. Great area for the kids to ride bikes. Great having electric and water hookups. Campers had decent amount of space between each one.
Cons: The bathrooms were not clean, the women had standing water in both the shower and toilet areas. The little outhouses were even worse, with strong odors. No sewer hookups available. No firewood available to purchase at campground. Lots of ticks in the area and poison ivy along the edges of the campground.
