Overall the expierence was great. Maybe a little more attention to the levity of the campsites would be better. Our rv sets pretty low in the front when leveled out. Our levelers were just about bottom out.

We stayed in Site B13. Very shaded and fairly level site. Many of the sites are quite large and spread out. We also drove the A loop. The sites are VERY shaded and look nice. Some towards the back looked to have a water view. Due to flooding the swim beach was closed, but we were still able to walk down there and check it out. Looks like it would be nice once the water is down. We also visited the boat ramp and shelter house near there. Both were in great condition. We ended up swimming just down the hill from that shelter house, as did others. The large shower house was very well kept, and clean. Big showers, hot water, and good pressure! A+ on that one! Only one dump station that we saw, so had to wait in line a bit, but we weren't in any rush, so it wasn't a big deal. My only real complaint was there were A LOT of ticks. We were picking them off of us all weekend. Would we stay again? Yes, for sure.

Campground is always neat and clean, as are the restrooms. We use the shower houses sometimes and they are clean as well. the managers are always friendly and helpful. The roads are paved and easy to walk on, if you are into fitness walking or jogging. The boat ramp is near for easy access, and has plenty of parking.

Beware of your neighbors "campfire" they let smoke all night. Ran the Air Conditioner & woke up at 1AM "Warning, Carbon Monoxide" of my RV alarm alerting me that the A/C had pulled in the smoldering smoke from across the road. I think they heard my alarm b/c I seen them crawl out of their tent to throw some more wood on the fire. Basically, The carbon monoxide from people's neglected fire will build up inside your rv or tent & could kill you. I hate to be so negative but this would have been an enjoyable trip had this issue not have happened. If your going to build a fire keep it maintained as a fire, otherwise pore some water over it & let others get some fresh air.
