Thibaut Point Campground offers a beautiful lakeside setting with clean facilities and friendly hosts, particularly Tanya, who is praised for her helpfulness. Many guests appreciate the spacious campsites, hot showers, and the added convenience of laundry facilities. Nice park. At times too many non-campers, locals using the boat ramp.

Very peaceful place to stay,Felt like the fire pit was to close to our camper even though we parked as far over as we could. But over all it was a great area.

We were engaged in a kayak-to-camp activity and chose Thibaut Point Campground as our destination for our first night. The location from the water to the campsite was great for our stay, as we could leave our kayaks in a safe location as we unpacked and set up our campsite. We were early to the campsite, so only a few RV's were set up. As the day progressed, more campers arrived. We had two things happen that we thought were worth making note of. The people who came to the adjoining campsite to us brought with them 4 dogs. Although the dogs were well behaved when the owners were present, when they left the next morning for the day, the 4 dogs were left alone, tied to trees and barking for the rest of the morning so that the remaining campers could enjoy the sounds of their barking. Perhaps a limit on the number of pets that are allowed is appropriate. The second thing that happened was the people in the RV directly across from us left their lights on for the entire night, making it difficult to sleep. While I recognize I may be alone with these complaints, I thought it was worth noting for others who are looking for a quiet experience.

My favorite COE campground at Truman Lake. Nice beach, clean facilities, and breath taking views. The camp hosts were very nice and helpful.

Well maintained, beautiful swim area, nice boat launch and parking.
Restrooms need a little “love” and washer/dryers work but have seen better days. $2 to wash $2 to dry, there’s a lot of people through here so it’s all well used.
Deer, turkey, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits and birds a plenty.
