We were lucky to get a last-minute spot for a baseball tournament we were playing in Sedalia! Facilities were nice, right on the water. The ramp was nice to put the boat in the water. The gate to the beach was closed, and we weren't sure how to pay the fee so we didn't get to enjoy the beach. Truman lake is beautiful!

Site A16 was the perfect site for a weekday restful getaway. It gets very busy over the weekend. The campground was clean and well cared for with paths to the water mown. Several vault toilets scattered throughout make sure the walk to a privy isn’t far. They were clean and weren’t bad for a vault. This particular site will be my go-to. Completely unobstructed views to lake and sunset, with a nice grass area behind the gravel pad, and direct access to shoreline.

Beautiful campground, the site was gravel and not very level. Location to the water and woods was excellent.
The Truman lake visitor center was excellent and we saw a bald Eagle there. We had some success finding Morell mushrooms. We don’t fish but this seemed to be a fisherman’s paradise.
