Fairmont RV Resort

This place is truly magical. I don’t want to give away our secret, but anyone traveling with kids, especially older kids, will love this place. The layout of the park is great for the kids to play and even meet other kids. It is always spotless and clean. The people who run this place and truly so kind and just great humans. The gentleman that mostly works the desk this year, not the owner, but he has been nice to visit with as well) was so accommodating and kind to our kids and us. We have such a great experience every year. This is our 4th year coming for a family trip and we are already booking next year. Next door you can play mini golf, basketball, golf (really hard course) but they also have a great driving range. The pool of course is a huge draw and the public can’t use it. Just know there is a price per day and the water slide is extra, but as long as lightning stays away it’s worth every penny. There are two huge indoor pools for those cold or bad weather days. Sitting on the deck and drinking a huckleberry lemonade adult beverage is a mom’s paradise.
It’s disappointing to see so many bad reviews for people who simply didn’t read the policies and/or were surprised they had to be followed. It is an RV park so don’t expect luxury, you are camping. If you want that, go stay next door. Dirt, rocks, kids playing, are what this place is for.

DO NOT STAY HERE…. I thought it was a little strange when we pulled in…. There was a lot of open vacancy. I know why now.
We got yelled at for parking on the grass which my friend’s car was barely on there…. We also were charging her Tesla and the manger came and yelled at us twice. We tried to be nice and did what he asked but he continued to be rude to us.
He proceeded to tell my parents they had to move their RV or he was going to call the police. Because we (two young women) “abused” his employee. When my friend tried to go talk to them and smooth things over, they locked the door and would not let her in. I am actually astonished at the immaturity and rudeness. My dad even offered to pay to charge her car.
The hotel has been nothing but nice to us and actually allowed my parents to have their RV parked at the hotel for the reminder of our stay. They apologized and said that this is a continuous behavior with the owner of this RV park. They let my parents park free at the hotel because of this. Would advise you stay at the hotel and skip camping.

Absolutely love this park. Perfect way to experience the hot springs without the extreme pricing the hotel demands. Dan is a wonderful host and makes all the accommodations very easy. Have been back twice and will definitely be back again!

I called yesterday to pay for my spot as I will be traveling through with the rest of my family (mom, aunt and cousin) as we are doing a family trip to Yellowstone. After speaking with the first gentleman on the phone about the spot he was very nice and accommodating and said he would help us in any way that he could. I will be traveling with three of my children two of which are adults and my adult children are bringing significant others (also adults). The first gentleman told me that we could park our extra car in the overflow parking lot and that would be no problem and that when we got there he would help us get as many swim tickets for the next door Fairmont Hot springs as we needed. He told me that I needed to figure out the exact amp and length of my trailer was so that I could be put in the appropriate site. I called back to let them know what my amp and length was and requested that all of my family and I would like to all be put together in sites next to each other. That is when the owner jumped on the phone and told me that he didn't think that this was going to work out. I was stunned by this and said I don't understand what the problem is and that I didn't think he needed to raise his voice at me, this only made him louder. He said there's no way that I would be allowed to bring that many people in my camper. I asked him why? if my camper sleeps 8 to 9 people why can't I have 8 to 9 people in my camper. He responded with his RV park rules policy (not listed on the website rules) is that only four adults are allowed per camper or two adults and four children per camper and that I would not be allowed to camp there. And that he would just cancel my mom and aunt's reservations without discussing it with them. This man raised his voice was extremely rude and disrespectful and hung up on me. To be honest i was scared and shaking. Now that I have calmed down and thought about our interaction over the phone. It seems ridiculous to me that a good old-fashioned Montana family cannot go on vacation to Yellowstone and swing through Fairmont Hot springs on the way because we have too many kids who have grown into "adults" (18 and 20) and are not allowed to stay in our camper. It's extremely frustrating and sad that we cannot enjoy Fairmont Hot springs because we have adult children. But on the other hand I'm happy that it happened now and not when we got there I will never stay in this RV park ever. And wouldn't recommend anyone with large families too even try. Sir I hope you have the day you deserve!

The guy that runs to this park is a pretty unhappy human being only stay here as the last resort he’s very miserable to deal with. He also has a long list of his rules that he will use to throw you out if you go a couple mile an hour over the speed limit. It’s not really a very nice RV park at 75 bucks a night. It’s a bad value better options down the road in Butte.
