Hardscrabble Ranch

Absolutely gorgeous place with the best hospitality and service. We especially appreciated being able to use glamping tents and lodge rooms to host our friends and family for the weekend. The outdoor kitchen served as the perfect spot for rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour. The barn was perfectly suited for our wedding reception. The owners and staff were so friendly, courteous, and experienced. All around, hardscrabble made our wedding carefree so we could kick back and enjoy our big weekend. We’d recommend having your reunion/wedding/ retreat at HR - it’s simply the best value and far exceeded anything we had hoped and dreamed of for our wedding. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Had a friend’s wedding here and it was a BALL! This is a perfect venue for someone who is creative and wants a beautiful canvas for their dream wedding. Plus, it’s great if you want your people close— we all stayed on the property, either in the lodge or glamping along a beautiful, babbling brook. It was convenient and fun to be close to the other guests. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We had our October 2024 wedding at Hardscrabble Ranch and it was absolutely full of joy. The weather was miraculously perfect, the venue is naturally gorgeous, and we loved having the onsite lodging for close friends and family to spend the weekend with us.

Beyond the good weather luck and beauty of the space, what really made our wedding magical was the staff! Chris and her team went above and beyond to make things run smoothly and to ensure that anything that came up didn't become a problem for us so we could be present with our guests. I had a completely stress-free wedding because of all their hard work and flexibility and can't recommend working with them enough.

We had a blast at hardscrabble ranch! We were lucky enough to win a stay at the ranch at the BSF auction. Peter and Kris were extremely friendly and willing to help with anything we may need! They provided an incredible meal for the whole 20 person group! There was plenty of room in the lodges for all of us to stay comfortably. Very easy access to Bridger Bowl nice to skip the traffic coming from the other side of the resort! Would highly recommend hardscrabble ranch for any type of event!

Just had my extended family visit for Christmas, and we chose Hardscrabble Ranch as our “Home-base.”

The ranch is beautiful! The lodges were cozy and perfect, and we had more than enough room for the 16 of us. It was great to go and see the animals and enjoy the trails on the side of the mountain whenever we felt like getting some fresh air and good views.

You can definitely tell the staff put in A LOT of effort to make sure all our needs were met. We never even needed to ask! The rooms/common area was clean and ready to go with WIFI, TV, board games, ping pong, etc.

I would definitely recommend Hardscrabble to anyone planning a family gathering/event like ours! Thank you!!
