Cardwell Campground

Awesome campground for any of the concerts at headwaters. Nice and quiet in the evenings, large grassy area, plenty of rivers to float in and close to Whitehall!
As 4 girls we enjoyed our stay and felt very safe camping by ourselves.

Only critique is woman’s room gets smelly and hot easily, definitely needs a good fan in there for after showers. But hey it’s camping, so it beats the woods!
Also a little noisy with the highway, but earplugs are a perfect fix.

We spent 4 nights here in our RV. Booking was easy, sites were clean and spacious. Lots of well maintained grassy areas for the kids to play. Other than a very grumpy neighbor- we had a great stay! Yes they are close to the highway, but the noise wasn’t bad at all. Great location as we were within an hour of all the places we needed to go. Bathrooms and laundry were clean and well maintained.

Campground needs so grooming otherwise nice place to camp for a night. Nice facilities, store, and little bar. There is road noise but didn't bother us in our rv.

Excellent stop for an RV traveling I90. It's quite close to the highway. It has very easy in an out pull through sites. Great layout. The shower house was exceptionally clean and had plenty of hot water. There were no firepits at the campsites. I'd definitely recommend this place.

When we first pulled in and got our campsite,my first impression wasn't very good. All I saw was gravel sites and close together, but after seeing the rest of the campground, I was surprised to see that it had a lot more character. There's a lot of grassy areas with numerous benches and a short trail that parallels the marsh.
They also offer FREE laundry, which is huge!
They have a dog area, but it's not fenced and no bags, so bring you own.
The bar is a great place to hang out and talk to locals and travelers.
