This was a beautiful campground. Bill does such an amazing job keeping it clean. The bathrooms were clean and even smelled fresh. He was so kind and informative

Site 7 in the photos looks beautiful, it’s not!
Flood damage and tree removal has drastically changed the quality of this site.
The toilets were clean but ran out of tp our first day.
We booked the site for two nights but stayed only one.

- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- There is no cell phone coverage in this campground.
- Bears frequent the area. Food Storage requirements are in effect on all National Forest System lands within the Montana portion of the Bitterroot National Forest from March 1 - December 1 annually.

- Shoreline stabilization project was completed on the West Fork Bitterroot River, along the Rombo Campground in the fall of 2025.
