The campground has a volunteer seasonal campground host. There is no boat launch available at this site, but there are several in the vicinity. Are family has been camping 9 years straight at Red Mountain
I can say this was the worst time we have had here and we won't be back.
To many dogs off leashes including the camp host it's disrespectful to others trying to enjoy free time.
I spent most of my time chasing dogs out of my camp area.

Thanks...

Nice campground. We enjoyed a campsite on the river. Negatives include no garbage bin on site. You have to drive to a very busy fishing access 2 mi downstream to dump garbage. There are speed bumps as you proceed into the campground from the highway. Great idea as the roads are gravel. Speed bumps throughout are necessary! Camping spots near river are pull through and are just off the gravel road. Many do NOT slow down stirring up a great amount if dust!!!

Campground hosts were very nice. There was one RVer group making noise till 2am, but otherwise it was a fine experience. Great Horned owls hooting at night.
