What Guests Are Saying
Red Mountain campground offers an ideal location along the Madison River, with friendly and helpful camp hosts who maintain clean facilities. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and direct river access, making it a favorite for floating and wildlife spotting. However, there have been issues with high winds, occasional cleanliness of restrooms, and communication regarding fire bans, highlighting areas for improvement.

This campground sits right on the banks of the Madison River. The are a couple of water faucets available but no other services. This campground is located at about the mid point if you decide to float the river. The sites are clean and #6 easily accommodated our 42’ fifth wheel and dually pickup. We will definitely visit again

Wonderful quiet and peaceful place, away from the hustle and bustle, alongside a free-flowing river. If you have visited this area, you must go. I'll be back.
