This is a great campground. The sites are level and spacious, the people friendly - the museum and town are just around the corner. You can explore the WPA town of Fort Peck.

Big spacious and partially shady sites, great biking trails, beautiful views across the Missouri River, etc. The museum was unfortunately closed as we were there during the week, but the stay was very pleasant even though short, and the host at the entrance/register was extremely helpful; the entire experience was wonderful. Certainly would love to come back again.

It was a nice campground most of the people working were volunteers, nice folks. Wasn't able to tour the Dam or visitors area due to low staffing/budget cuts but we will come back again. It was very hot 100+ ° F and the black flys where out in force but once we got some fly traps it was manageable
