Location was clean and beautiful. Although the weather did not cooperate with boat fishing, we still were able to take the kids for a swim.

Downstream is a model for how campgrounds should be laid out. The sites are generous with a feeling of privacy There are large open areas so even when the campground is full you do not feel crowded.
The visitor center is a must see, dinosaurs and history of the dam.

Check-in was friendly and efficient, the site was clean, and the park was beautifully maintained. Last but not least, the price was very good. I have already recommended it to several folks I met at an RV rally.
