Nice get away with good amenities. Bathrooms were clean, walkways were strategically planned. Trails around the Downstream site were fun to walk. This is a good family park with great access to fishing, boating, site-seeing and generally just relaxing.

I've stayed here many times over the years and always have a good experience. I appreciate the new bathrooms, but the new showers are horrible. There is no place to set down your stuff. the entire area gets wet and it is tricky getting dressed without getting wet. I preferred the old showers. Overall Fort Peck Downstream campground is a great campground, located at one of the finest fisheries in the country.

I believe that the message that the only way to get a camp site is by reservation needs to be advertised. I and other campers have arrived without a reservation and were denied a camp site until we were able to get on the Internet and make a reservation. I might add that the gate attendant was very courteous and helpful.

Didn’t stay long enough to get a good feel but friendly staff and a beautiful camp site. Bathrooms were clean, didn’t use shower house. I’d definitely go back though. Very nice walking trails!

Very nice, clean campground walking distance to Fort Peck dam and interpretive center. There's a few small fishing ponds nearby. The camp hosts were super nice and helpful. We'll return some day.
