Nice campground. Quiet and scenic. We could have gone without hearing generators and the lack of any fresh water supply means we won't be back, however.

We stayed at Devil's Elbow having never visited previously. It was fantastic. The host was very friendly and accommodating as we were in town for sport tournament and had irregular check in/out times. The water was great and so happy with the views. Just the break we needed, but close enough to get to our other events. The walking paths were a bonus. The site was level, clear of major rocks and the restroom very clean and no oder despite the heat. Definitely will come back.

Overall, we had a very good time. However, the internet service wasn't very good and there wasn't any potable water available when we were there. An apparent well failure since we observed a well drilling rig in the immediate vicinity.

While we stayed at Devils Elbow we used our boat and parked our trailer up on top parking area. When we returned and loadedour boat to go back to our site we had a notice regarding not to park our trailer in that area unless you pay. I looked for signs saying it was for day use only and Ibeleive there was only one little sign that was at the parking lot. Other trucks were parked and I did not see the only sign. Need to add more signs and larger ones.
One of the rules for having dogs is to have your dog on a leash and the host must have privilage rights not to have their dogs on a leash.
The birds in that area are very beautiful and fun to watch. The campgrounds is always a fun place to be.
Keep up the good work!

Unfortunately our experience is not too good. Campsites are spacious: that is a plus. But be aware that it s incredibly noisy. With speedboats that pass by with loud music. Despite sign at the entrance about quiet hours the host doesn’t seem to care. Our very loud neighbors were his family so music, aggressive behavior and cars driving after 10 pm were apparently all fine. So I guess for us it was bad luck on a Saturday evening. I can imagine a weekday is a lot more fun then a drunk-weekendday. I would not recommend it unless you have a boat you want to race!
