Great experience. The campground host was top notch. My original spot, next to my son, had been canceled but I lucked out and found another, though less favorable, site. The host explained that there had been a flood and my original site had been under water. He said that since it was dry now, if I wanted to move over into it, he would be ok with it. So I did. We had a great family outing.

I only have one issue. After recent downpours the ground is filled with a very fine dirt. Gets into everything. Not exactly sure what you could do here other than maybe some kind of fine gravel spread around. Even worse when it gets wet

Great place to camp if you want to get away from all the day to day routines & enjoy some quiet time. I camped alone for just a few days for a sanity check & Riverside was the perfect campground for what I needed. Camp Hosts were the best & keep the campground very clean from the camp sites to the pit toilets ….. Highly recommend checking out Riverside
