The access to the lake for non-boaters was a little precarious in places from the campground. I think steps would be a wonderful addition for us older folks. (lol) .
Enjoyed our stay, enjoyed a wonderful thunder storm that cooled the air temps!

We camp here and fish a lot and only have great reviews due to quiet camping, clean toilet vaults, clean campsites, no generators running after quiet hours, and easy to make reservations on line for a very reasonable price. Keep up the good work!

The grass and weeds in the sites was very tall. It needed to be mowed. The camp host was rude and not available for most of the weekend.

This year’s camp host wasn’t very friendly at all. He drove by our campsite yelling, you can’t park on the grass!!!!! We moved our boat and later on he came by again stating no vehicles can park on any part of the grass and was quoting bylaws. He was very abrasive and if you’ve ever been to White Earth it’s just prairie and we’ve camped during Father’s Day weekend for the past several years. I had reservations made for July 17th and 18th this year and canceled because of the hostile ways of the camp host. Very disappointing!

Really, an 8$ service charge on a 10$ camping fee, no choice, what a rip. no opportunity to apply discounts.

Heading north along MT highway 12/287 from Townsend. Drive north to the town of Winston, MT, and turn right onto Beaver Creek Road and follow the road 5.5 miles to the campground.
White Earth Campground is accessible via MT Highway 12/287, approximately 5.5 miles from Beaver Creek Road.

General
- All campsites are to be considered single unit sites unless marked as a double site. Single campsites are limited to one camping / sleeping unit per campsite. An exception will be made for parents with young children; Parents may have one additional tent for children under the age of 18.
- Personal property used to reserve campsites, including RVs and tents will be removed in accordance with 43 CFR Part 423.23.
- RVs, vehicles and trailers must be parked on the gravel/pavement and within designated areas of the campsite or established parking area provided.
- Pets must be physically constrained by a leash under 6' in length or a structure. Do not leave pets left unattended. It is your responsibility to clean up after your own pet.
- Be considerate of other campers. Activities and noise should be kept to a level that does not disturb other campers. Generators are not allowed during quiet hours. The use of loud, profane, or abusive language or music is prohibited.
- No electrical source for camp trailers or RVs is available at shelters.
- Price of shelter includes five designated campsites.
- No show reservations are subject to cancellation after the third night.
- Campsites must be occupied each night
- While at Canyon Ferry Reservoir: CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that comes in contact with water. Never dump unwanted bait, worms, fish parts or other organisms into the water. For more information visit https://www.invasivespeciesinfo.gov/ STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. REMOVE plants, seeds, animals and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicle. CLEAN your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. STAY on designated roads and trails and use local firewood.
