Although the water level was extremely low, the campground was clean and quiet. We enjoyed the roomy sites and friendly host.

What a beautiful campground right at the Missouri. Goslings, ducklings, wildflowers. Wonderful!

This campground is located by a peaceful lake with mountains at the far shore. If you're looking for something quiet and secluded, this spot is ideal. The site is several miles off the main road and tucked away behind some farmland. While my sister and I are not experienced campers, we felt very safe here. The site included parking, a fire pit, and a sturdy picnic table. We easily found firewood out by the lake. The bathroom was much nicer than I anticipated. Clean, plenty of toilet paper, and hand sanitizer. Our host, Bob was delightful, and checked in on us several times during our four day stay. Our first night there the temperature dropped into the 30's with rain, and 50 mph gusts. Bob politely expressed his concern and checked on us in the morning. Overall, a great experience.
