Really enjoyed our stay here. It was quite windy and I am not sure if that is a standard in the area, but being right on the lake over a super hot weekend was great!

Everything was as expected if not better and I would definitely go back there.

We rented the group shelter and had a mini family reunion. The group shelter was very attractive to our large group. Unfortunately, birds had been allowed to build nests in the shelter and we spent most of the weekend dodging bird droppings from the large number of birds living in the shelter. Every morning I tried to clean up the big piles of bird poop that accumulated in the middle of the shelter. We had small children with us who were constantly stepping in the poop. This is certainly not acceptable, especially since the shelter was the area in which we cooked and ate. Please, please, please do something about the birds nesting in the shelter. It's disgusting.
Other than the bird issue, we found the campsites to be very clean, garbage was removed promptly every day by the camp host and we enjoyed the direct access to the lake. It's a nice area.

My wife and I spent one night there this summer. Quiet, barren park with lovely views of the water. Very pleasant right up until the hail storm! Quarter size hail pounded the area for 45 minutes. Not a camper in sight avoided damage. We left early the next morning to get repairs to broken sky lights, screens and torn canvas. Life in the great outdoors!
