Camp hosts very cordial, restrooms kept very clean. Very quiet, no barking dogs, and dogs all kept on leashes as required. (This has not been our experience in the past)

I have stayed at the White Sandy Campground for several years now..Each year I am more disappointed. It seemed to start with the Covid-19 years..First the Fish cleaning station was closed due to Covid; so I was told..Second, the water started having a tremendous amount of Iron in it to the point I didn't even want to let my dog drink it..Third, last year the water was turned off completely which was sad because the grass in the campground was very dry and this year the water is still turned off and the grass is dry to the point that it is almost a fire hazard and the weeds are taking over and some of the trees are dying..This needs to be dealt with very soon or you won't have a campground at all..
One more thing is that on weekends when the campground is actually busy some of the sites are being over filled with Camp trailers and autos to the point that they are parking in the grass out of the designated parking areas and partially blocking the road..These issues need to be fixed. Yon sure haven't lowered the price of the campsites..

- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee.
