Mountain Acres Mobile Home & RV Park

We camped overnight because Montana is a big State. Was a night place to sleep and wash our clothes shower before hitting the road again. Laundry and shower areas were very clean.

Works for an overnight stay but pricey at $70 per night .... up until now in this trip from AR through IA, WI, MN, ND x2 we've paid an average of $45 a night .... 36' motorhome + 3 dachshunds .... the young woman who checked us in was less than helpful, the photocopied map was very dark and difficult to read yet she was unsure where the site was nor did she know which side of the sites the hookups are on. Very quiet but only 4 or 5 other spaces were filled. This business could make a lot of money if they provided a little service. Next time we'll just go the extra 2 hours to Great Falls.

I have stayed here five or six times over the past six years or so with our 17 foot pull behind trailer. It is always a good experience except for the odd Saturday night when there is a bit of traffic noise. The proprietors are friendly, camp sites are clean, restroom and shower area works well. Dog friendly. Easy walk to downtown. It is an all around good place to stay.

The Good:
Nice young lady working front desk. Clean facilities. RV spots are nicely spaced.
The Bad: $57 a night (full hookups) But c’mon it’s Lewistown MT. Population 5800?
The Ugly: NO military, Good Sam, Senior discounts?

One road off the main highway, enough to be nice and quiet. Well marked. Asphalt and gravel entry and driveways, with nice, big, level sites. A few pull-through but most are back-ins. Each site had its own power, water, and dump station, all on the left/correct side of your rig (assuming you pulled in correctly). A number of trees but not so many as to prevent easy parking.
Small but clean laundry room with flush toilets and showers. Reservations recommended but I was able to get in for three nights without one. At $32 per night, this park is quite reasonable.
