McGregor Lake Campground is located approximately 53 mi southeast of Libby, Montana, on Highway 2 at the west end of McGregor Lake in the Kootenai National Forest. This area is about halfway between Libby and Kalispell in the heart of the Thompson Chain of Lakes, a premier fishing and hunting area.

We love staying at McGregor campground, the camp host is absolutely amazing, we love her! This time we were disappointed due to we were unable to use the lake due to the algae but still had a good time,

We had a very nice stay at the group site. The host is super friendly, very helpful and courteous !! Was nice to be able to utilize the day use area this year since it was closed last year due to bear activity (darn bears :) ) Already made a reservation for next summer.
