About Mill Creek Cabin

Mill Creek Cabin was built in 1927 as a temporary lodging for traveling Forest Service personnel. The cabin can be accessed by vehicle year-round, though a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements and safety. This cabin offers rustic accommodations with limited amenities, so guests need to bring most of their own supplies and gear for a comfortable stay.

Wonderful cabin, very comfortable with electricity, stove, fridge and running water. Fantastic porch on the back overlooking the creek. Good fishing, great biking trail up Wicked Creek, and lots of hiking all around. A comfortable spot for those who just want to sit and read or those who want to stay active. Good x country skiing in the winter, and a sledding hill just across the road.

We were Georgia ladies some not used to roughing it. All had an awesome experience unplugging for a few days

It is a fabulous rustic cabin. Can't beat the views sitting on the front porch or listening to the rushing river (early June) just off the back deck. The refrigerator was bigger than expected and cabin had many other kitchen amenities. Great spot to get away and relax.

We had a magical new years' at the cabin! It was clean, warm, and mouse-free for our visit. Fresh snow made for a prime location for recreation, and we can't wait to return!

This has two sets of twin size bunk beds a fridge sink and stove. Everything is really nice. The back patio over the water was beautiful to sit and enjoy. The mice are active. We caught 3 on our trip. Bring your own firewood!

Very nicely maintained cabin in a location that's less remote than many others (good for families or those that wish to be near amenities).
