About Mill Creek Cabin

Mill Creek Cabin was built in 1927 as a temporary lodging for traveling Forest Service personnel. The cabin can be accessed by vehicle year-round, though a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements and safety. This cabin offers rustic accommodations with limited amenities, so guests need to bring most of their own supplies and gear for a comfortable stay.

Having read through the guest log I made it my responsibility to leave the cabin, and its grounds, cleaner than I found it. The stove was awesome for heating in the cold mornings. The outhouse was also great. Overall, we can't wait to come back and explore more of the trails.

Wonderful cabin. Bigger than most. Has electricity - lights and a stove. Its a little hard to get water from the stream in the winter so better to bring water.

The cabin was easy to get to And a nice spot along the creek. Not the greatest weather for cross country skiing (not the cabins fault!). but it was a nice spot for a getaway.

Drove to the cabin in the dark (in January) and found it no problem. Cabin has pots for cooking and stays plenty warm during winter months with the stove burning. Bring your own wood!
