It was a nice stay. There was more traffic than in past years. I saw only a few mice droppings in the sink. Other than that it was clean. I do wish the deck had the posts at the end nearest the creek so kids or pets are more safe. All in all it was a good visit though.

Great location near trails and xcountry skiing. Plenty of chopped wood and kindling. The new stove keeps the cabin nice and toasty. Always a pleasure to staying at Mill Creek.

Great, cosy cabin (loved the electricity) near endless skiing on forest service roads & trails. Bring a good map so you know what trails to take. We appreciate the Forest Service providing the well-stocked wood shed. A marvelous winter experience!

From Livingston, travel south on Highway 89 for approximately 15 mi. Turn left (east) on Mill Creek Road 468. From this point, it is approximately 12 mi to the cabin along a paved then gravel road. The cabin (marked as the Mill Creek Work Center) will be on the right, just before the Snowbank Campground. In winter, the road is plowed to the Snowbank snowmobile parking area, which is beyond the cabin.
Mill Creek Cabin is accessible via Highway 89, which is approximately 15 miles north of the cabin in Livingston.
