About Mill Creek Cabin

Mill Creek Cabin was built in 1927 as a temporary lodging for traveling Forest Service personnel. The cabin can be accessed by vehicle year-round, though a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Guests are responsible for their own travel arrangements and safety. This cabin offers rustic accommodations with limited amenities, so guests need to bring most of their own supplies and gear for a comfortable stay.

For those wanting some peace and quiet this is your place but if you are looking to be near Yellowstone it is a bit far out.

Great, cosy cabin (loved the electricity) near endless skiing on forest service roads & trails. Bring a good map so you know what trails to take. We appreciate the Forest Service providing the well-stocked wood shed. A marvelous winter experience!

Beautiful location along the river in Paradise Valley, and a great weekend getaway. Short driving distance to YNP. The cabin is clean, and having both electricity and running water is a bonus! I would recommend bringing firewood with you in the spring/summer months, or an ax, as most of the available wood on the Forest is larger in size. Enjoy!
