Jim and Mary’s is an absolute gorgeous property, you can tell they put hard work into it everyday.

However, our stay was not pleasant.
Let’s start with checking in, the young gal was super sweet and a fast check in, that was it nothing more, just pay and go.

Found our spot, it was easy to back into, spots could use larger numbers to see better.

Watch for sprinkler holes, they’ll get you!

First day, dogs and dogs and more dogs!
The barking was insane, irresponsible dog owners can’t control their dogs. Kids running in your paid spot, yelling and being disrespectful. (I should have tripped them)
Don’t bother the employees when they are planting, your questions don’t get answered and, you get a smirk.

The TRAIN! Is awful, you’re not far from it, right across the street.

Horns and the sound of screeching brakes is music to your hears so early in the morning.
Not for us, maybe for others. That’s just how our stay went.

Again, beautiful place, just not has friendly as the place looks.

Beautiful RV park, not far from downtown Missoula. Spacious spots with full hookups. Pretty river rock gravel in the spots. There's clean bathhouses and laundry. A lovely gift shop with Montana made products. And the staff were all sweet. The grounds have lovely gardens and statues too. So well maintained. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

I thought this was a very clean and pretty little place to stay the night. I thought it was pretty quiet. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the flag as you enter. I just think it isn’t necessary and where I am from it is constantly being shoved down our throats. I feel in places such as this there shouldn’t be any political or personal beliefs in your face. But having said that, we would stay there again!

This review of for my stay way back in September! 🫢.

Jim and Mary’s RV Park is a cute and quaint park. During the summer they have vibrant flowers around the park and it’s very welcoming. We finished our camping season with a 2 night stay, brought the cats and it was perfect. The staff is hands down the friendliest. Shower house is clean, the grounds are very well kept and yes the occasional train the goes by, not a big deal. We have started a tradition that we will end our camping season here each year. No fire pits, which doesn’t matter to us since we have a propane fire pit.

I see people giving low stars because of what Jim and Mary’s can’t control, like trains or the highway so I find that an unfair and lack of research on those who are booking a stay. Many RV parks/campgrounds in Montana are going to have some type of outside noise whether it be airplanes, cars, trains… it’s going to happen. If you are unsure about the surroundings, especially a RV park located in town and or by a highway, google map it, and see what industrial elements are near it. Also, most RV parks are going to have rules and cancelation policies, you can’t give low starts if you didn’t read the rules or the policy, turns out most parks are going to have similar rules.
