We fell in love with this campground. Each spot is nestled amongst the tall pines. There is a river that runs along one side of the campground. There are a couple hiking trails just down the road a mile or two. The camp is only a few minutes from the town of Red Lodge. The camp hosts, Rhonda and John, really went out of their way to make us feel like family. The only downside are the outhouses. They are cleaned really well, but they do not have the newer vented technology, so they are a bit smelly.

This was my husband and my favorite campground to date. We are in our 60's and have been camping our whole lives. The smell of pine was wonderful. The sites are spaced far apart. The host couple were helpful and nice. Can't recommend it enough.

Our family loves Basin! We have been going for quite a few years, but this last trip the bathrooms were horrendous. The garbage was always picked up and the floors always mopped, but there has to be a solution for the smell that got worse and worse over our week long stay.
