I love this place:) definitely coming back! Quite and super friendly staff. Small but perfect! Mountains are beautiful and they’re really cool river. I was only here for one day so missed out all hiking. So recommend you see the lake. Apparently there’s moose around in the morning! Driving there is like being in lord of rings movie:)

The camp host couple Rhonda and John was the best. They helped me to be able to stay at the campsite for 3 nights instead of having to move spots. They took very good care of me. I am looking forward to seeing them again for my reservation over Labor Day Weekend!

Great campground. Clean, spacious, quiet, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Fire pit, picnic table, and food lockers at each camp site. Very close to hiking trails and a small fishing lake with easy access.

The campground is beautiful, a typical National Forest campground in the pines, surrounded by mountains. Campsite #19, however, is not so good. We have a 25' camper, bumper to hitch, and while we had plenty of room for the camper and tow vehicle, the picnic table and fire pit were on the WRONG SIDE! So we had to walk around our camper to access the campsite. We have never encountered that situation. Also, the actual site for the trailer was built up with some sort of small rocks and dirt mix. So once we exited the camper it was all downhill and the mix they used to build up the pad was very slippery, as the rocks and dirt would slide under your feet. Not only did I slip on it but the camp host also did, as well as some visiting fellow campers! This is treacherous footing for anyone not exactly agile or even aware of the problem. And forget it if you have your hands full carrying food, etc. out to the picnic table! Someone needs to put in some steps, either with landscape timbers or large flat rocks.

There's a better camp up the dirt road about 2 miles on the right.

Only minor irritation was barking dog at campsite directly across from our site.

Very pretty atmosphere. Creek runs through the campground. The campground host Rhonda was so nice and brought us the fire wood so we didn't have to carry it. The other campers were helpful when our grandson was stung by a bee. Definitely a place we will return to.
