What Guests Are Saying
Cascade Campground offers a spacious and clean environment, with helpful camp hosts and a quiet, remote setting perfect for relaxation and hiking. While the parking pads can be shallow and the access road rough, the overall experience is positive, highlighted by the cleanliness of the facilities and the natural beauty surrounding the area. Some guests noted issues with the water pump and site size descriptions, but these did not significantly detract from their enjoyment.

Cleanest restrooms ever at a campground. It was quiet even on Saturday night.

This remote campground mostly escaped the 2008 fire that wiped out the trees everywhere else. Where it is open, the little trees are growing up quickly. Those campsites have incredible views! But the wind is fierce, especially at night (it can get quite chilly at night!), and will blow your awning right off. Richard, the camp host, was friendly, and helpful when we needed to repair our awning.
The hike up the West Fork trail on up the road is well worth doing. Beware, there is NO shade since the fire took out all the trees, wear your sunscreen. Being able to see the geography of the landscape more than makes up for it. Go out as far as you feel like it and return. Steadily up, but an easy grade.
