Greenough Lake campground is well-loved for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts, making it an excellent spot for camping. Many sites offer privacy and amenities like bathrooms, though some specific sites, like #15 and #8, have received criticism for their layout and size. Overall, the campground is highly recommended for its serene atmosphere and proximity to a lovely alpine lake.

This is a very nice campsite. This campsite is well shaded and A nice place to get away from the heat. There is a small lake you can hike to that is about 1/4 mi and it has lots of small trout. The kids have a blast there fishing or swimming. The campsite is completely paved and there are bathrooms that are cleaned every day and a hand pump well water that is available. Downside campsites are close together and it was kind of busy but overall it was quiet and a good time. There are some campsites that have beer boxes for food and other items and they have trash bins at the entrance for you to dispose of your trash because it is bear country. There’s no dumpsite or electrical but there is a dumpsite in Red Lodge at the town pump that is free. And if you run out of things to do red Lodge is a cute old time town very touristy and they usually have something going on a lot of cute shops as well.
