Good campground, not as private as we like, but still pleasant. Only stayed overnight.

Parkside is a beautiful, well-maintained campground with clean facilities and a friendly host, Dave, who is knowledgeable and accommodating. Visitors appreciate the serene, wooded setting along Rock Creek, excellent for hiking, fishing, and enjoying wildlife. Despite some minor issues with campsite accessibility and occasional noise, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

They have "pit toilets" but the smell was extremely bad, even after they had pumped it out..
They only had 1 spicket to get water which was fine BUT it did not have the ability to fill a gallon jug, a hose bib to connect would have been great. With "dry camping" it was difficult without one. You had to us a bucket or like to get water and carry it back to your site.

The park manager was fantastic, site 8 is easily the best site next to the water’s edge. The grass was nicely mowed keeping the bugs down (as if there even were many to begin with) and tidy. Bathrooms were good. Only thought would be to fix the road a bit with a speed bump so people leave the sites at a reasonable speed.

David the host was great! He introduced himself right when I arrived and went through the nuances of the site and any recommended courses of action to keep animals away and stay safe. Water and bathrooms were easily accessible and were well maintained. I wish the app did a better job of showing pictures of each site and describing the size. I didn’t have any access to the creek while other sites did. I wasn’t aware of that when I booked the site. Otherwise, no complaints!

What a great little campground!! Nice and quiet and wooded right on the river and only a few minutes away from the top of Beartooth OR Red Lodge. We'll definitely be back! Thank you :)
