What Guests Are Saying

Rattin Campground offers a beautiful setting with clean, spacious campsites and well-maintained bathrooms, making it a pleasant place to stay, especially for those exploring the Beartooth area. While some campers experienced issues with a less-than-friendly camp host and concerns about bear activity, the overall cleanliness and size of the sites were appreciated. However, potential visitors should avoid spots 2 and 3 due to a lack of privacy.

Camp host was less than friendly. He seemed rude and not helpful. He also sold firewood that was not covered from the weather and we could not get it to burn because it had gotten wet. The campsite itself was good. Customer service was not.

The camp host was great at communicating about the present of a bear and he kept it black bear out of camp thanks. Camp was clean and it a great camp site. All wildlife is controlled by game and fish and they have done a great job with everything except the bears, bears used to be afraid of humans not anymore because they are not hunted enough. There's to many bears now.

The site for the travel trailer was a parking lot next to the dumpster, with bears frequenting.
