The campground was fine and the camp host was very nice and gave us all the information we needed. The valet bathroom was very clean so no problems there. The only complaint was the road coming in 3 miles of holes was not fun. Thank goodness we had our pick up and we just had to drive about 15 miles per hour so we didn’t tear our truck or camper up. We will definitely stay again on our travels. Hopefully the south entrance will be open.

I’m so sorry that the bridges in the area were washed away. This must be an outstanding expense for the area. The only access means taking an extremely rough road that did some damage to my camper setup. Use caution as one vehicle rolled down a hill the day before my arrival. Host was helpful and very friendly. Be prepared to pay $10 for the 5 small pieces of wood that comes in the bundle. Otherwise it’s a nice campground and I slept like a baby.

You guys need to note if campsites are "conjoined", aka, share a firepit with another campsite. This was a terrible experience. Nowhere did it say that this campsite was basically half of one big campsite with another party in the exact same immediate area! I want a refund!

Rattin Campground is easy to find and well maintained. The hosts are friendly but unobtrusive- Which was much appreciated. bathrooms were super clean. You can hear the main road from the camp, but it wasn't too busy, and if you're lucky enough to get a campsite close to the stream it should block out all the noise. We tent camped in site 5 (next to the host) and had nice level ground, plus were able to walk back to the stream about 100 yards. We saw a fresh moose track! This seemed to be a very dog friendly camp ground- plenty of pups about the area, but all were under control. All in all, If i needed a convenient place to stay in red lodge again, I wouldn't overlook this campground.

Very secluded, small and quiet campground. Beartooth River is just a short walk away (20-30 yards). The pit toilet was the cleanest and best smelling one I've ever used. Only there one night, so didn't get to explore much, but it's a ten minute drive to get to the town of Red Lodge.

Best campground ever! Wally is amazing and the best camp host we had at any of our campgrounds. He kept the bathrooms spotless (as much as you can for vault toilets lol). Campgrounds are clean and well spaced.
