What Guests Are Saying
The Pavilion is well-liked for its electricity, making it a great choice for annual church family camps. However, advance notice about the lack of water and bear boxes would have been appreciated for better preparation. The clean bathrooms and ample toilet paper were positively noted.

We love the Pavilion with the electricity for our annual church family camp. It would have been nice to have been contacted prior to our dates that there would be no water or bear boxes so that we could have prepared ahead of time. The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of TP, what more can you ask for?

It was 90+ degrees each day we were there, so floating and swimming in the Bull River was a welcome relief. Excellent spot with lots of tent camping in the shade.

Great pavilion! Availability to electricity and water at the pavilion was helpful with food prep. About half of the parking lot floods closest to the river during and after the rain, but the parking area was large enough for our group this time. The camp host was well informed and was helpful when needed. We hope to return as a larger group within the next two years.

Someone was already in pavilion site and wanted to leave their trailer there. We agreed and as it worked out we never used the pavilion.

I have stayed at this group site three times. The first two times, the rate was much lower than the last time. The prices went up considerably however I found two issues which would prevent me from using it in the future. I contacted the ranger station the week before to find out if firewood is provided. I was assured it would be by the camp host. When I arrived, the camp hose informed me the forest service had not delivered fire wood and none would be provided for my entire stay. The second issue was the toilet. I have stayed at numerous group sites in the Libby area and never had an unacceptable toilet. The toilet at Bull River is always an issue. It close enough to the pavillion that when you gather under the pavillion to eat, the foul smelling toilet will always be present unless there is a breeze blowing it away from the pavillion area. Considering the price has more than doubled, I would expect the toilet to be maintained to avoid the unpleasant order constantly present at this group site. Of all the group sites I have stayed, I have never had this experience with the toilet or the firewood. I would also expect when I contact the ranger station in charge of the group site and confirm there will be firewood available, it would be available. This site has awesome camp hosts but they are limited to the help they recieive from the forest service. I would not stay there again.

This is a group campground review. Very nice place for a group to meet. Be sure to find out how the group fees apply. We realized after we reserved and showed up that there was an additional headcount fee.
