The spot is beautiful, the people camping there were not. Rules aren’t enforced so it made for a sucky, not to mention dangerous, experience. People were scraping off and washing dishes at the spigot (during an active “bear in the area” alert), another group partied until 1:30am and a few of them just crashed outside in sleeping bags on their trampoline (yes, full-size trampoline!) - a restriction for hard-sided vehicle camping only was in place. We came for wilderness and got Walmart.

Was not advertised well that tents were not allowed

Despite the campground being closed to tents (bear threat) and despite the rain - I had a wonderful experience. Camp host was helpful and laid back. Excellent location and the site was good.

The park ranger was very rude in an interaction we had. My wife and I had been traveling all day and had just gotten camp set up when some park official came up to us and told us that we had to pack up and leave immediately due to the soft sided tent that we had due to bear activity. Now this alone we understand having spend our entire life’s in bear country but for one there where no signed posted anywhere in or around the park or online and then when we asked for clarification he held his hand up and said he didn’t want to hear it and expected we leave. Due to this we didn’t get to see or enjoy the park hardly at all and have a very unpleasant taste left in our moths from the interaction.
If you are to implement rule changes and not tell anyone before hand it is extremely rude to absolutely dismiss people when they have quantifying questions.

We were so lucky to get a spot in a weekend...keep checking the website, it changed from am to on. Loved it and should have stayed longer. Bonus...bear in our site!

The facility was perfect. The sites, while not far apart, still had enough distance and greenery between them that we didn't feel too close to our neighbors. The store nearby was perfect. Overall, it was our favorite campground we stayed at while in Glacier. Will definitely be back :)

Clean bathrooms. Fire pit and picnic tables. Not the most flat spots. Currently only cars camping, right, trailers. Was not clear online when booking. No tents due to bears - if no tent option, heads up, car camping.

Loop A appears to be better maintained, better range of sight as bushes and brush. The wind is more intense in loop a. Loop B is more private due to larger bushes, but with the recent bear activity, we felt safer in loop a.

I enjoyed that it was not a busy campground. Was disappointed by our first site. Thankfully I was able to switch it with the help of my starlink. Booked before getting the the park to make sure we had a spot. Was disappointed when we got to our original site (13) to find it was one of very few who had to share the driveway with another site. The driveway is where you park your camper. No where did it say this on the website. For the same price as every other site we were not thrilled to have half the size camp. On top of that, almost every site is uneven to the point it would be very difficult getting level. Once we moved to Loop B we had a better experience. Bathrooms kept clean. Saw a bear our first night. He scampered away pretty quick once he realized we were there (in our camper)
