Free showers with plenty of hot water. Camp host extremely friendly, courteous, helpful, wanted to make sure we knew where the shelter was because of an upcoming storm. Will stay here again.

We were paddle fishing on the Missouri River at Lewis & Clark Recreation area. Had a blast. All the campground facilities were very clean and well maintained. We we’re very pleased. We will most definitely be back again

We had a beautiful campsite near the restroom. The area was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the nighttime view of a full moon over the river. The campground hosts Brian and Terry were amazing. They were so attentive and friendly to everyone. They went above and beyond in making everyone feel special. If I could nominate them for an award, I would; as they were probably the best campground hosts we’ve ever had. The contractors resided next to our campsite. They were both great; very friendly and professional. And of course Yankton is always fun to visit

We love Army Corps campgrounds and this one did not disappoint. What made it above and beyond were the camp hosts Brian and Terry. They were so personable and friendly. Don’t lose them!! The restrooms were super clean and nice. Being right on the Missouri is very nice and Yankton is very convenient for food and shopping.

This is a riverside site very popular with fishermen. The dam is in plain view and we got some very pretty pictures in the sunset and sunrise. The host was nice and helpful. There’s only one or 2 water taps down at the campground. There’s a good dump site on the way in.

We stayed mid-Septemper. One day hot and humid, then strong storms, then cool and beautiful weather. Sites looking over the Missouri river. Lots of recreation activities nearby. Sites were deep and clean. Bathrooms were immaculate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rates were low.
