Other than the first 10 or so sites have a big downslope at the rear of the sites it was an awesome stay. Our back tires were almost a foot off the ground on a 40 ft. The sites are very long, plenty of room for your rig, vehicle or 2 and a boat trailer, our neighbors set up. Ranger was awesome and gave us some great tips for things to do in the area. I hope we get to go back to this hidden gem! No water hook-up but there are spigots every few sites and potable water fill-up and a dump station.

Great! Wonderful views. Really enjoyed exploring the whole area around and near the campground. Yankton was a great town.
Hosts were friendly and very nice.
Some shade on our site.

Most of the sites are tight, but fishing is pretty darn good. I like going over to lake yankton for bass fishing off the shore. The day use area over there is a great spot for kids too. My favorite eating spot is the lunch buffet over at JoDeans near the walmart.

Always clean and we'll kept areas for all campers and a great place to spend time together if you want to fish, hike, or boat.

Beautiful site. Right on the water. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the campers next to us.

This Army Corps of Engineers camp is simple but everything we need. Really close to the water, lots and lots of shade. The bathhouse facilities were updated this year and in really nice clean condition. We like being so close to the boat ramp as well as close to areas to fish from the shore. One of our favorite spots to camp.

Site 10
Nice park, bathrooms clean. The only down side was the dumpster on the road behind and slightly elevated on the road comming into the park. Fish cleaning station and carp carcasses smelled horrible if the wind shifts.
