great stay even if it was just one night passing through. Clean, good spacing between sites, not crowded either. Will stay again next trip through.

The contractors dog barked the whole time when they were gone. We were the site next to them and it was very annoying.

It is rare when you find a bathhouse at any campground that is so clean that you do NOT freak out when you realize you forgot your shower shoes. But my husband pointed out in the first 30 min how clean the men's room was, and I found the ladies to be the same.
I was blessed to be able to meet and thank Lori for keeping the bathhouse so clean. She was friendly and you can tell when someone takes pride in their work.
The camp host was friendly and professional. The check in was easily explained to find the sign for check in, which turned out to be on the back of his golf cart. He headed to our site next, and it was a smooth process.
The only thing I wish was knowing to fill up the water tank at dump station before we turned into the campground. I saw it, but not until we were past it. It would have been helpful to have a facet option once we were in the campground. We were aware their was no water hookups.
We enjoyed our 40 min drive to the University of South Dakota (on the other side of the bridge) to explore the National Music Museum. We thought it would be a quick visit, but we were there more than 2 hours and only left because they closed the doors. Don't miss the special place- well worth the time.
It was lovely to be able to sit at our site and hear and see the Missouri river go by and watch the sunset- Magical.

The campground is a small, clean, quiet campground. The camp host welcomed us and stopped to let us know about the lights on the dam for 4th of July. We will be back.

Had a great time wish some people didn't come in and try to pitch a tent on our area as we were the last spot. Overall great time!!
