This campsite was beautiful, right on the Missouri River and Lewis & Clark Lake. Had a clean bathroom, showers were nice, and the showers were free. Would definitely stay at this place again.

Check in was a little confusing and had to get help from another camper in order to get to the right place as they don't have anyone at the building

Generally quiet. Good location if you are going from the camp into downtown Yankton. Not the best access to the lake and destinations on the North side of the lake as you have to cross the dam to take the shortest route which is narrow and part of its single lane with a traffic light.

We enjoyed our camping vacation at Nebraska Tailwaters Campground by just relaxing. The campground was very quiet and well maintained. The shower/restrooms were very clean with more than adequate room. Only problem we couldn’t get our E bikes to the bike trails on the other side of the river without breaking camp. We will probably be back again next year.

This is a great little campground. The host, Mary, is fabulous. It tends to be quieter here than at a lot of campgrounds. And you can’t beat the view of the Missouri river. Pretty decent connectivity too. The only problem I can find is the dump station is unusable because of huge potholes. And it’s been like this for a couple of years.

From Yankton, South Dakota, go south on U.S. Highway 81 for 2 mi, then west on Nebraska Highway 121 for 4 mi, campground entrance will be on your right.
