The host was excellent. Don’t remember her name but she was in the first host site.

This was our overnight stop on our way to our final destination. Beautiful site along the Missouri river. Sites were efficient and what we needed. Great showers. Friendly host.

Love Tailwaters! Bird watching is terrific! This time a juvenile Golden Eagle landed in a secluded parking lot. Hung out for about 1/2 hour. Huge! Flew off. Lots of migrating Monarchs, geese, and ducks. Earlier in season witnessed the wonderous flight of hundreds of pelicans. Totally awesome! And there's more! Great place to launch kayaks for a paddle down the Missouri by Yankton, SD! Loved the camp host from Arizona!

The place is well maintained on the grounds and in the bathroom. When I was there, someone was cutting the grass. Every time I used the bathroom to shower, it was always clean. It is a place that I would recommend, and return to stay in the future.
