Awesome 2 week stay, with the cleanest bathrooms, showrooms, and the laundry facilities worked great. The campground hosts were a pleasure to work with, and the overall experience was excellent. Looking forward to our return.

The whole trip went well. Getting into our spot was easy, plenty of shade for the hot day we came in. Went swimming a Gremlin twice while there and one south of the dam swimming area. Rode our bikes all around the camp ground. Free showers are very nice for a campground. Kids playground was great for our 3 kids under 10.
Great stay, will come again.

No one there to answer questions or help check in. If you have a dog don’t stay here huge tick problem. I picked 23 ticks off my dog so far, 3 off myself and one off my husband! The water was green, would not even consider going in it.

After a long drive on a 100 degree day we reached our site only to find that the electric had reverse polarity. I tried the 30 amp and 50 amp options, neither of which worked. The sign at the office had said “back at 6:30” (it was about 5). I walked to three other open sites, and had the same result when I plugged in my line with a meter. I found one site that worked, and there was no reservation posted. So we moved and set up there. I called the office to inform them and asked that they call if that site was in fact reserved. Soon, a 5th wheel pulled up and said that was his site. So I quickly moved again. By now it was almost 6:30 so I drove to the office. The person said there was one site available with electric. We drove there, but there were two unoccupied vehicles in it. We drove back to the office, but the person had already left again. We drove off with no place to spend the night. (Thankfully we found an open spot at the nearby Alma RV park). Methodist Cove itself looks lovely.
