We love staying at Metodist Cove. Only thing we would like to see improved is the grass cutting. We dont feel lile having grass that tall over labor day is necessary.

Spacious sites, many with full hookups and beautiful views of the lake.
The campground host is very friendly too... we love camping here!!!

Wonderful park - nicely maintained huge back in sites with great spacing. Full hookups worked well. Amazing bargain for we who are seniors and on a budget.

Even on a Labor Day weekend, the campground and facilities were well taken care of. Camp hosts were friendly. My only complaint was the neighboring campsite when they started up a chainsaw at 11pm!

From U.S. Highway 80, take Highway 183 south to Alma, Nebraska. Turn left on South Street and travel 2.5 miles. The park entrance is on south side of the road.

General
- Only one camping unit allowed per site
- All campers must check in when arriving at park
- Maximum of six people allowed per site
- An attendant is on duty during the peak season of May through September
- Secure coolers and boating equipment each night to prevent thefts
- Off-road vehicles are not permitted
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
