Our campsite was nice and in good condition as well as quite clean. However, since the water was turned off, I have rated this campground lower than I normally would. It is a very nice facilty with many trees. Without water, it created a problem for us. The vault toilets were clean.

Each site was not completely separated but had a good amount of privacy. The camp host was extremely welcoming and patrolled the area well. Each site has some trees, so great for hammocking!

We have camped here twice on our trips to other places. But now we want to return and spend a few days in the peace and quiet.

This was the second time our class used a group site at Ward Mountain for a class reunion activity. The facilities are perfect for a large gathering, we did not have as many attendees this time so I booked a smaller group site. Still there was plenty of room, plenty of parking and the facility was clean upon arrival, including the bathrooms.
The only negative is the lack of water, I recall we had no water five years ago either, so obviously this is an ongoing issue.

The camping sites were amazing. Nice and large and level spots for motorhome or tent. It was clean and inviting. The view of the surrounding mountains was beautiful. The bathrooms though pit toilets did not smell and were always clean. This is an excellent campground.

Wide, level sites with gravel surface. Includes grill, fire ring, stand for portable stove and level wood picnic table. Campground host was friendly and diligent. This campground is on the top of the summit and it gets breezy up here. We has 75MPH gusts one evening we were there. Water was not available but we were warned by email in advance and filled our fresh water tanks before coming in. Only 15 minutes to Ely, NV.

Very nice campground. Everyone we met was friendly. Very close to Ely and little more than an hour to Great Basin NP. If you haven't been to GBNP make sure to put it on your list. Love that area around Ely too.

Ward Mountain Campground has a wonderful group of sites for bigger rigs. The bathrooms are very clean for pit toilets. Lots of trails for hiking and biking. Very nice group sites with an amphitheater, pig roasting pit, swings for kids, horseshoe and volleyball pits. Overall, a very peaceful and fun place to go for a dry camping experience.
